Royal Tour: Duke and Duchess bid farewell to Australia

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George said farewell from Fairbairne Airbase in Canberra following their three week tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Prince George Dressed in a red cardigan and red and white candy striped shorts, shook hands with dignitaries and tried to wriggle out of the Duchess of Cambridge's grip as they boarded a flight home.

It was only the fourth time Prince George had made an official appearance in either New Zealand or Australia, amd most of the waiting dignitaries shook his hand as they said goodbye to the family.

Earlier in the day the Duke and Duchess paid their respects to fallen soldiers at an Anzac day memorial service.
