First West Yorkshire's Final B7TL: 2004 - 2024 | Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini: YJ06 XLW

Back on Saturday night (April 27th 2024), First West Yorkshire's last remaining Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini (YJ06 XLW / 37046), did it's final public passenger services, prior to full retirement this Thursday (May 2nd 2024), Closing the curtain on 20 years of reliable service for the type overall, and 17 years for this particular example.

When I heard that it was the end, I decided to make my way out to Huddersfield, to ride it's final service back to it's home base in Halifax. We had Danny Evans, Who's preserved various other B7s from the area as our driver, so obviously, He floored it the whole way.
