• Turmeric Powder (Haldi) ½ Teaspoon
• Red Chili Powder (Laal Mirch Powder) 1 Teaspoon
• Salt (Namak) 1 Teaspoon
• Cumin Seed (Zeera) ½ Teaspoon
• Potato (Aloo) 2 (Medium)
• Peas (Matar) ½ Cup
• Oil 1/3 Cup
• Chili Sauce 3 Tablespoon
• Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
• Green Chili (Hari Mirch)

How to make leftover Roti (Tortilla) ka Salan
Direction/Method/Preparation

Step 1: Leftover Roti (Tortilla)

• The very first step is to break the roti roughly into bite-size pieces. Soak in water for 3 to 8 minutes.

Step 2: For Salan

• Take a pan, add oil in the pan, and heat up the oil.
• Add onion, do not fry the onions. Just mix until the onions look soft
• Add tomatoes, ½ Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder (Haldi), 1 Teaspoon of Red chili powder (Laal Mirch Powder), 1 Teaspoon of Salt (Namak), and ½ of Cumin Seed (Zeera). Mix well. Cover the pan and cook until the tomatoes are tender.
• Add Potato (Aloo) and ½ of water. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.

Step 3: Salan + Roti

• Add 2 glasses of water, and bring to a boil.
• Stain leftover Roti (Tortilla), and add in a salan. Add ½ cup of Peas (Matar), Coriander Leaves, Green Chilies, and ½ tablespoon of Salt (Namak). Mix well.
• Cover the pan and cook for 3 minutes on medium flame. Add 3 tablespoons of chili sauce.
• Mazeedar Leftover Roti (Tortilla) ka Salan is ready.

Serving:

• Serve as hot.

Tips:

• Also garnish with lemon, and add lemon juice.
