In this video, we will understand what is Price to Retailers & Retailer Landing Price (RLP) using one example.
It is very important to understand how to calculate the Landing price of the retailer. As a salesman, you will be asked by the retailer many times, about the landing price. If you can answer this to the retailer, then he will be impressed and also, he will trust you and will abide with you.

To calculate the PTR, you need to know the retailer margin, which is fixed by the manufacturer, and the MRP. Then you can use the PTR formula discussed in this video, to calculate the price to the retailer. This helps the retailer to understand its profitability.
If the Trade scheme is also there, then you can deduct the Trade scheme from this PTR, to attain the landing price.
