this video is based on the supreme court judgement on CMS & ED diploma in 2003.

The Hon’ble Court gave the right to prescribe drugs to tgese diploma holders.

There is shortage of RMP in rural areas, abd the access to healthcare is very poor, the CMS & ED diploma holder can open primary healthcare centre in these rural areas to provide first aid with right to prescribe limited allopathic drugs.

it is a 2 year diploma course after which you need to get permission from CMO to start a primary healtcare centre in rural area.

Supreme court also suggestet to make a state medical register for the registration of cms & ed diploma holders but it has still not formed.

there are lots of institutions which give false and fake information and tell cms & holder that they can became Doctor after this course but its not true.

you can only become primary health care provider and that too in the rural area after written permission from CMO.
