1891 – Death of Hazel Imeson (47) registered in Holcombe Bury.
1905 Kelly’s Directory - St. Andrew’s School, Bolton Street, erected in 1872 by the late William Grant esq. at a cost of £1,900, for 260 children; average attendance, 240; & used also as a Sunday school; George Bott, Master; Miss M. Parker, Infants’ Mistress.
1911 Census – 19 Barwood House, George Bott (44) Schoolmaster Lancashire County Council, born in Whittle-le-Woods, Lancashire and his wife, Martha (42) born in Radcliffe. Their children, John Howard Bott (17) Office Clerk Bleachworks, George (11) School and Frank (2) all born in Ramsbottom. Servant, Clara Ann Moseley (23) General Servant, born in Crigglestone, Yorkshire.
1917 - “18th September 1917. Death of Mr. George Bott (51), Schoolmaster of St. Andrew’s, Ramsbottom after one week’s illness.”
1918 – “7th January 1918. Mr. W. A. Bracewell became headmaster of St. Andrew’s, Ramsbottom, in succession to Mr. G. Bott deceased.”
