8mm cine shot by me in the final months of Darlington MPD including the last two A1 pacifics on standby duty. After the closure there were a number of steam workings from York MPD and a series of specials including the 3 Dales rai tour and on the main line with preserved locomotives in charge.
The video has an authentic soundtrack mostly recorded at the time of filming
