Abstract Painting Demonstration In Oil Paint With Masking Tape / Work #10

In this video I explore pushing oil paint around to get cool and interesting painterly marks with the help of cheap palette knives and masking tape. It all starts out with an acrylic base - I then apply subsequent layers using thinner, translucent mixes of oil paint and Winsor & Newton Liquin medium. Each layer is masked with tape to create random geometric shapes, this influences the paintings balance and final outcome.
