How to Make Mochi Without Glutinous Rice | Mochi Recipe With Gluten-Free Rice Flour 🍡

Hello folks, in today’s video I show you an easy way to make Mochi Without Glutinous rice, using Gluten-Free Rice flour, which you can find in the commerce, and if not, then you can use your regular/plain rice, and blend it in small quantities at home in a high speed blender, to obtain the Gluten-Free Rice Flour 🍡

(Ps: This method in an alternative for all the folks who struggle to find the Sweet Japanese rice flour, AKA: Mochiko, as well as for those of you who are Gluten Intolerant 🤗)

Now, without further ado, here’s the list of the ingredients you’ll need to Make 8-10 Mochi Delicacies: 📋

🍡 120g Gluten-Free Rice Flour/ or 120g home blended regular rice

🍡3tbsp sugar

🍡480g water

🍡1/2 tsp food coloring with or without aroma (optional)

🍡1tbsp cornstarch/ or 1tbsp potato starch (⚠️ please do not use flour as a substitute, for it’s not safe to eat raw, as well as the powdered sugar for it makes the Mochi stick in your hands)

🍡 Anko (red bean pate) for the filling/ or any filling of your choice, such as grapes 🍇, strawberries 🍓, chocolate truffles🍫 etc... Get creative! 😚 I personally used grapes, and some “deep fried date ball paste” and they tasted heavenly! 🤤
