Zanzarah: The Hidden Portal, Released in 2002, was an interesting game full of passion which, unfortunately, didn't met much success.
Amy, at the day of her 18th birthday, is visited by a mysterious creature who gifts her a teleporting rune for the fairy world of Zanzarah.
Amy discovers to be the prophetised heroine that will restore the balance of that fairy world and, in doing so, she must become a fairy master.
Heavilly inspired by Pokèmon, Zanzarah is an action adventure where the trained fairies battle in arenas where they are directly controlled in first person, resembling an arena shooter with the possibility to fly.
