Accessories Part 1 | Fitting the Optimate Battery lead to the Triumph Speed Twin-5 minute job.

The first video in a series where I "fiddle"with my new, used 2020 Triumph Speed Twin

Here I fit the Optimate battery lead, which has an SAE waterproof plug. Great to plug into an Optimate battery charger/conditioner to ensure your battery is in best condition and thereby avoid a flat battery if the bikes been unused for a while!!!!

5 minute job.

You will have to reset the bikes clock as you have to disconnect the battery, which sets the clock to 00:00. Just get the clock showing on the dials and press and hold the "I" button on the left switch gear cluster and this will cause the hours to flash first , scroll hours by pressing the I button until desired number is reached, then hold the I button in ,to move across to the minutes and then do the same here.
