Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Iron Defense
- Focus Energy

Vitamins: 20 Protein (or Muscle Mochi), 25 Iron (or Resist Mochi), 5 Carbos (or Swift Mochi)
Feathers: 2 Resist Feathers, 8 Swift Feathers

* The last 2 EVs of the 510 total do not affect stats but are included so that the EV diagram in game shows the EVs as maxed

Stats at lvl 100 w/ perfect IVs:
HP : 449
Attack: 366
Defense : 346
Speed : 150

NPC Advantages: no requirements, but gardevoir (life dew, synchronize) and burners (drifblim, arcanine) will reduce the likelihood of losing from receiving critical hits. intimidators (staraptor, tauros) also help. arboliva will ruin the run unless you replace earthquake with tera blast or stomping tantrum, which is probably capable of finishing on time but will just be slower.

Strategy: 2x iron defense. focus energy. after your stats reset 3x iron defense, heal cheer if HP is low or you get burned. 3x swords dance. 3x earthquake. terastalize. earthquake to victory.

Notes: belly drum is very risky given that there is no reliable healing. swapping in drain punch for iron defense can make it more viable but you will take a lot more damage. swapping drain punch for focus energy will make it difficult to finish the match after emboar uses bulk up (though if you do that you may as well use shell bell or metronome since razor claw by itself isn't worth using as it only raises the critical hit rate from 4% to 12%).

Pros: supereffective tera type, excellent HP and def stats, fantastic atk stat, outspeeds emboar, no weaknesses, resists head smash, resists wild charge before terastalizing, immune to wild charge after terastalizing, iron defense buffs 2 def stages. swords dance buffs 2 atk stages, focus energy +. razor claw gives 100% chance of critical hit which bypasses the +2 def that emboar gets from using bulk up twice. earthquake has a 100 base power, 100 accuracy, and it deals supereffective (STAB when terastalized) damage.

Cons: tera type mismatches base type, typing invites flare blitz so risk of burn is fairly high (and if you get burned after running out of heal cheers, you're hosed). relies on heal cheers and NPC gardevoir for healing (which can make it difficult to recover from critical hits)

Overall Rating: 8/10
