R129 Mercedes Benz Battery Change on 300SL, 320SL or 500SL

Step by step how to video to change the car battery on a Mercedes 300SL, 320SL or 500SL. All steps are shown!
Also shows how to recode your car's radio.
Remember: When removing the battery, you start with the negative first, then positive. And when replacing it with the new battery, you need to go in reverse order, where you start with the positive and then the negative connection.

Battery: BCI Group 49/L5/H8

Tip: Use dielectric grease around the battery terminals. This prevents corrosion and does not impede any loss of power or volts. It is not shown in the video but is good practice, and I later added the grease to the terminals.
