If you’re training for a marathon, give Yasso 800s a go, an effective way of introducing speed work to your training.

Our runners for the Paris marathon, Sarah and Jasmine, talk you through a session of Yasso 800s, an interval workout designed to give you a target pace for your marathon and challenge your VO2Max and improve stamina.

Warm-up drills:
- A skips
- High knees
- Heel kicks
- Ankling
- Strides

Yasso 800s Intervals.

You run 8x 800m at interval pace, firstly, convert your marathon time: if you run a 3h marathon, that equals to 3min/800m.
After each rep, easy jog to recover over same time (3min), followed by 800m at interval pace etc.
