BATTLEFIELD 2042 Apache Gameplay with 127mm and TOW missiles & Tips

Since posting an Opinion Piece 4 months ago on the future of the Attack Helicopters in Battlefield 2042 (bf2042) vs the Stealth and Nightbirds, I have been secretly practicing to try and improve my game based on the feedback you have given me. I'd like to think I've come a long way and now recognise I came to a lot of incorrect conclusions about this vehicle!

Right now DICE are reviewing the Apache and Hokum ahead of Season 5, with confirmation that the Wildcat -- the natural predator of the Apache -- will have a more prominent role with its own slot and upgraded AA guns. Given the attention they're getting, it seemed like the right time to check in on them.

The Apache is absolutely brilliant at flattening enemy armour / vehicles, and is especially good at downing air transports like the Mi240 Hind and Condor. It can even hold its own quite competently against smaller attack aircraft. The proviso is the loadout must be 127mm rockets and the TOW missile. Nothing else works quite so well.
