MBTA 'the T' - Orange Line trains at Assembly [with Hawker-Siddeley 1200s + CRRC 1400s] - March 2022

Here's my last MBTA video (for now), and possibly my last video featuring the Hawker-Siddeley 1200-series cars. The MBTA completely shut down the Orange Line for 30 days back in mid-August to mid-September to work on major track and station improvements. This was the result after 'the T' was under scrutiny being under investigation by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for many safety issues and frequent incidents. Due to this shut down, the 1200s retired from passenger service. The only possibility of these cars going back to service depends on the speed of CRRC delivering more 1400s and if the intervals on the Orange Line improve when staffing issues at the control center are sorted out soon.
