Flanders House | Modern Luxury House Design Meets Nature in Belgian

Nestled in a wooded area of Flanders, Belgium, this stunning contemporary house designed by SAOTA seamlessly blends modern architecture with a warm, inviting living environment.

The residence is designed around a central courtyard, creating a connection between the main house, a pool pavilion with a home office, and the surrounding landscape. The exterior features a unique combination of solid cubes, interconnecting glass panels, and a canopy that wraps around the house to form outdoor terraces. Inside, the layout prioritizes defined rooms that open outwards to the terraces and inwards to a central atrium with skylights. This allows for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle in the summer and a cozy atmosphere centered around the atrium in the winter.

The careful selection of materials further enhances the design. The exterior features slabs of marble cladding, sandstone floors, and aluminum panels, while the interior boasts large glass panels that blur the lines between indoors and outdoors. This modern masterpiece offers a tranquil living environment with a deep connection to its natural surroundings.
