For best results/quality, watch in HD. This video was filmed by https://www.railwayscenics.com. The Wimborne Model Railway Exhibition was held by the Central Southern Gauge O Group (CSGOG) at the Allendale Community Centre in Wimborne on the 22nd October 2023. 10 great layouts and lots of traders to buy from.

The layouts featured in the videos are as follows:
1) Ashwood Basin - Based on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and marked the western most end of the Earl of Dudley's Railway system which opened in 1829. The buildings are scratch built.
2) Printer's Yard - A fictitious shunting yard based just outside Brighton in the 1950s to early 1960s.
3) Legoworld - The layout uses fourth generation lego trains which are either controlled via battery power or via a smart phone app using bluetooth.
4) Bunbury West - Portrays a small rural station in the late 1950s serving a Norfolk rural farming community.
5) Mamhead - A Great Western layout set in the 1930s. Mamhead is a village south of Exeter that did not have a station. Runs on DCC with sound.
6) Test Track - Contains 4 large continuous circuits with the two outer loops being useful when preparing long trains prior to running.
7) Chard Junction - Chard Road Station was opened in 1860, the single line to Axminster being doubled in 1861 and to Crewkerne in 1862.
8) Goathorn - The Goathorn Peninsular is situated on the west side of Poole Harbour and was the point where ball clay from Benjamin Fayles mines was trans-shipped from the company's own 3'9" tramway to the ships berthed at the end of the pier.
