Mercedes-Benz SLK - How to remove / install the rear bumper | R172

To remove the rear bumper, put the vehicle on a vehicle lift.
Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the bumper.
Continue on the right-hand fender liner.
The wheel is removed here for better visibility.
Remove the 3 clips on the fender with a suitable tool.
Proceed in the same way on the left-hand side.
Bring the vehicle back down.
Open the trunk lid and trunk partition.
Remove the lower trunk lining.
Remove the 3 clips on the inside of the rear center section.
Remove the trim piece.
Remove the nut.
Remove the clip on the right side trunk lining.
Remove the rubber bumper.
Loosen the side trunk lining until the Parktronic electrical connector is accessible.
Disconnect the connector and remove the grommet.
Ask someone to help you.
Detach the bumper to the rear.
Carefully pull the wiring harness out of the rear fender.
Install in the reverse order.
