30 minute kundalini yoga to cleanse the colon | DIGESTIVE DETOX | Yogigems

This 30 minute kundalini yoga kriya is known as the colon cleanser. It's a fun set of exercises that offers a thorough clear out of the intestines, scouring away any unprocessed residues from the lower digestive tract. As always, these kundalini digestive cleanses are not just only impacting on the physical level, but on the psychic and emotional levels too - hooray for these deep digestive cleanses!

The colon cleanser is one of those interesting kundalini yoga kriyas that asks for an extra ingredient - 12 oz of prune juice. It's fine to use water if you don't have any prune juice handy (like me!). However, if you're out at the health food store, pick up a bottle and try this kriya again with the prune juice for maximum colon cleansing, detoxifying goodness.

As with all kundalini yoga kriyas, please be careful with your body. Keep yourself safe from injury. If you feel dizzy, just take a moment or two out. Remember to drink plenty of water during and after your practice.
