Kanpur New Delhi High Speed Run in India's Fastest Duronto - Sealdah New Delhi Duronto Express.

Here's presenting a short compilation of the 440 km Kanpur New Delhi stretch on board 12259 Sealdah New Delhi AC Duronto Express. My date of travel was Nov 17, 2013 from Sealdah; we had reached Kanpur bang on time at 06:05 on the 18th of November. Our link was Howrah WAP-4 #22408. The compilation starts here.

The Duronto departs Kanpur after a brief technical halt of 10 minutes. The newly introduced MEMU to Jhansi lies on its right. As we curve out of Kanpur, crossing the tracks, we meet a freight rake hauled by twin BWN deemers.Soon, the WAP-4 unleashes its power as we cruise past at MPS crossing a ASN WAM-4 hauled 13112 Lal Quilla Express and 12402 Magadh Express with Kanpur WAP-4 #22301. We speed through the fields of UP, as the sun rises with its golden glow. A WAG-7 hauled unidentified Express rushes past.

We crawl through Etawah at 7:40 am, having crossed the Kanpur-Etawah stetch of 130 kms in 90 minutes at an average speed of 86.67 kmph. Soon we gather speed and start crusing at MPS towards Tundla. En route we skip Shikohabad and Ferozabad at MPS.

We cross the Lucknow Shatabdi Express with a Ghaziabad WAP-5 soon after Tundla followed closely by the Jammu Tata Express with a Kanpur WAP-4. High speed skip of Aligarh follows and we find oursleves at Ghaziabad outer at 10:32 am.

At Ghaziabad, we have a short halt; we had covered the Etawah-Ghaziabad stretch of 275 kms in 174 mins at an average speed of 94.82 kmph. Post, Ghaziabad, we are made to crawl past Shahibabad Jn till we divert towards the New Delhi tracks. We pick up speed after that skipping Chander Nager and Anand Vihar in style before slowing down at the Yamuna Bridge.

We reached New Delhi at 11:20am.
