Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Carlisle taken on 11/03/1989. I caught the night sleeper from Bristol for this visit, a weekend of WCML diversions over the great Settle and Carlisle route. The clip is bountiful of class 47s and 31s awaiting for their next turn of duty. This again was a wonderful bright sunny day with a little cold wind, hence the shakiness at times added with the shaking from the cold temperatures too. (That's my excuse) I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
