Medievil - The Pumpkin Serpent

The Pumpkin Serpent in my Medievil walkthrough.

Quite a small and simple level. You start by a pod on a vine like tendril, chop it up to annoy the Pumpkin King in the middle. You'll see a Cauldron off the main path too, use your Witch's Talisman and the Pumpkin witch tells you how she nurtures the Pumpkins and how they started misbehaving under Zarok's rule. We have to track down the remaining pods (in this relatively small area). Do so, defeating Pumpkin headed enemies along the way. Don't destroy the Skull&Crossbone chests by the big Pumpkin yet. Once you've taken down the last pod the Pumpkin king will rise and attack you with the tendrils of doom (which do barely anything). Blow up the chests to knock a nice portion off it's health and then rush in with the Broad Sword to make quick work of it.

Run around the corpse to fill up your Chalice and then head back to the Witch. She'll give you a Dragon Gem. Also, down the well near the beginning you can now hop down to claim the Chalice and kill rats for 1 coin a piece if you feel like it.

Pick your own reward this time. A Longbow from a Centaur, or a Spear (throwing) from an African woman. The Spear is probably better, but I'm English, so I went with the Longbow automatically.

Next up the three asylum levels. Which feature two puzzle orientated levels and a gauntlet style survival bout with some extremely deadly Zombies/Gnolls and erm women's legs?
