I grew up listening to "...Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears, and needless to say, I was obsessed. My friends and I used to imitate her dance moves and sing "oh baby baby" jokingly around the living room. It wasn't until years later that I realized this song was actually a sad song. Not even pop production could cover up these lyrics: "My loneliness is killing me?" "When I'm not with you I lose my mind?" What better way to pay tribute to this song except to write a meloncholy back up piano and sing its sad, sad lyrics? I hope you guys like my version of Britney Spears': "...Baby One More Time!"
