In this video, I share details on how I am able to stick to the most restrictive diet I have ever done in my life. This diet requires you to give up sugar, processed food, and other certain foods to eliminate inflammation. It's not easy, so here's how I have been able to stick with it 100% and how I feel after three weeks.

So, let me spill the tea about this journey I'm on because my endo has really been cramping my style—literally.
Along with some hardcore digestive drama like relentless abdominal pain, mega bloating, and acne that's probably stress-related (because, hey, feeling like a balloon all the time is no joke).
And oh, the puffiness in my face before the diet? Not the look I was going for.
So the Autoimmune Protocol, or AIP diet, which I stumbled upon at the beginning of June - it sounded like the life raft I needed, so I jumped on board.
It’s pretty much an elimination diet designed to reduce inflammation and identify foods that might be triggering symptoms like mine.
The idea is to cut out potential troublemakers like grains, legumes, nightshades, dairy, eggs, coffee, alcohol, nuts, seeds, and, brace yourself... sugar and processed foods. Yep, it’s strict!
I actually adapted the diet more for myself - I’ll get into detail about that in the next video.
This diet is like no other I've tried before, and honestly, I was worried about the whole thing and sticking to it perfectly. Three weeks in, I’m feeling INCREDIBLE and so grateful I started. I've nailed down a few strategies that have set me up for success and I wanted to share them with you.
One thing I want to expand on is hyperpalatable foods - engineered to hit the sweet spot of taste, fat, and salt that makes them irresistible. This term describes foods designed to increase consumption by enhancing flavors beyond what you find in nature. They often lead to overeating because they’re not just delicious—they’re almost addictively good.
As for my sugar cravings, I've developed a specific technique to manage them effectively. I'll dive into this in this video, so make sure to watch the full thing!
Sticking to AIP is tough but worth it for so many reasons, not just for me but for anyone wrestling with digestive issues or endometriosis. If you're curious, why not join me on this ride? I’ll keep sharing updates and tips as I go.
Catch you in the next update, and here's to hoping you find your path to feeling awesome too!
