Here’s one classic soap theme that makes many people cry... especially when you listen to it as it is being played on an organ. It’s the orchestrated version of the original theme from “The Edge of Night” which was used on CBS in 1974 (or 75), and was also used on it’s early ABC years until 1976. This one is indeed different from the first orchestrated version I’ve heard on the soap’s christmas episode from 1974, but it still has the same touch as you hear it.
