in an 8-15-1960 episode of 'The Edge of Night', you can see Mary Fickett - best known as Ruth Martin on All My Children (for 25 years!)..here, she plays a woman (Sally Smith) desperate to get her husband out of jail for a crime he didn't commit..this episode also features Mandel Kramer as Police Chief Bill Marceau..Ms. Fickett returned to EON in 1967 to play a Dr. Katherine Lovell..

until i first saw one of these vintage episodes of EON, i had no idea that Paul Taubman had such a playful style of music...

this Public Domain episode was found at Archives.org, where it is explained that this episode, containing original commercials, is incomplete..the fourth commercial break has an animated 'Milk Bone Dog Biscuits' ad...
