In last week’s video, we showed you how we survived the Downieville cross country, keeping our bikes and bodies intact. Macky’s currently sitting in fourth, which puts him within striking distance of the All-Mountain podium if – and this is a big if – he can keep his lightweight, fast-rolling XC tires inflated amidst all these sharp, pointy rocks. It’s a risk, but this is bike racing, and if you wanna hang out at the front, you’ve got to play the game.
