Chicken, Onion Jam Pizza using a Bread Machine

For the dough:

1 ¼ cups of warm water
2 tsps sugar
1 ½ tsps quick rise yeast
1 tsp salt
1 ½ TBSPS olive oil.
3 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour

Put the ingredients into the pan of the bread machine in the order listed. Set the machine on the dough cycle and allow it to work its way through.

White Sauce

2 TBSPS butter
2 TBSPS flour
1/8 tsp salt and pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 cup of milk

Melt the butter and add the flour stirring almost constantly for one to two minutes. Add the spices and seasonings and then add the milk a little bit at a time stirring constantly to make sure you don’t get lumps. Put into a shallow bowl, cover with plastic wrap chill while the dough is working.

When you bring the dough out of the bread machine cut it in half and set aside one half for the freezer. The other half set under a bowl for at least 10 minutes to rest. Then either press it out or roll it out until you have the desired size. Add the white sauce or if you are making a red sauce pizza add that sauce. Then top with whatever ingredients you like. For this video I used mozzarella cheese, rotisserie chicken, onion jam but you could use what ever you find in your fridge, add a little more mozzarella and you have a pizza.

The oven is set to 450 degrees and I left it in there for 16 minutes.
