Simple Easy Chili

1 TBSP olive Oil
1 med onion diced
1 cup diced peppers (optional)
` pound lean ground beef
2 ½ TBSPS chili powder
2 TBSPS cumin
2 TBSPS tomato paste
1 TBSP garlic powder
1 ½ tsps. Salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 ½ cups of beef broth
1 15 oz can diced or whole diced tomatoes
1 16 oz can kidney beans or beans of your choice
1 8 oz can tomato sauce

Fry the hamburger in a large pot and once it has browned add the onion and pepper and cook for a couple of minutes before adding all of the other ingredients to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn it to the lowest setting and just hot enough to see the occasional bubble. Cook one to two hours.

Bread Sticks Made from Bread Machine

1 cup lukewarm water
2 tsps sugar
2 ¼ tsps. Yeast
2 ½ cups of flour
3 TBSPS of melted butter
1tsp salt.

In to the pan from your bread maker add the warm water, two teaspoons of sugar and the yeast. Add the rest of the ingredients and put the pan into the bread maker. Set the cycle to the dough setting and let it run its course, which in my machine is 1 1/3 hours which includes the first rise. Once the time is up take the dough out and cut it in to 12 equal parts and roll each part as I have in the video. Add them to a greased or parchment lined baking sheet. I use to large ones. Cover and let rise 20 minutes and then cook in a preheated 400 degree oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
