Triumph Bonneville Primary drive inspection Ep.5

Описание к видео Triumph Bonneville Primary drive inspection Ep.5

Continuing our investigation into the failure of 2nd gear on this classic Triumph Benneville, we have the last few parts to inspect. Looking for clues as to why the gear failed & of course, making that important 'parts' list which is getting longer by the minute!

The basic design of most modern motorcycles, like cars, has all become very similar but wind back the clock 50 to 60 years & at the time motorcycle manufacturers were trying different ideas, learning themsevles, not really knowing the best way...

Yes, it's another relatively long video so my apologies but I am of the opinion that knowing how to check these components is the valuable knowledge, a knowledge that is on the descrease within the motor industry. So, if your not too keen on some of the more 'boring' bits then just fast forward.

Next video in this Series we should be making a start putting this old girl back together.....maybe!

Enjoy
Andy
