Finding a best restaurant in Calgary? Here’s our review to Taste of India Calgary - East Indian Cuisine. Explore their Amazing Menu and Enjoy a Delicious Meal. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide menu list and yummy drinks.We recommend to everyone! We would like to come back here again and again. They served food on a single basis while they cook them on perfection. Crunchy, hot and freshly served spring rolls are our fave!!! We tried also their chicken kebab and it was good. They got wide menu list for Stew and Biryani Rice. We tried their butter chicken, my son’s favourite and its best with their freshly baked tandoori or garlic bread. The goat vindaloo is intensely spicy! This is in direct contrast to tikka masala which, while delicious, is creamy and rich. Try also their Lamb and Prawn Biryani, the Lamb biryani has this special taste that makes you want to have more. And also the prawn the sauce is unique and aromatic. Add Lassi drinks on your order, we got strawberry and mango lassis. Love the sweetness and refreshing taste after the experience of spicy but satisfying dishes!
The price is just right! But be sure ordering only one Biryani Rice it’s good for 3-5 people. We ordered 3 and it’s too much. But the good thing is we have something to go.
The location is at 1101 14 ST SW, parking are very convenient just alongside the road. They have dine ins and take out.
Make a weekend or occasional visit it’s worth it!
