Hike with me: Resolute Loop Trail | Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park | Hikes near Sydney

This is a 5km looping hiking trail great for a morning or afternoon visit to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The loop starts near the West Head Lookout (a great spot to have lunch and take in the incredible views of the ocean and Palm Beach peninsula). The trail travels down to Resolute Beach and passes by West Head Beach before heading back up to the Red Hands Cave.

Along the start of the Resolute Track, there is a significant Aboriginal historical site where carvings of a male human and hunting tools can be found. The artwork is estimated to be approximately 5,000 years old but is very well preserved. The loop has quite a few stairs so be sure to bring water and some sturdy shoes to help you navigate the steps. Enjoy the footage!
