This is a 30 minute yoga practice for advanced level to improve upper body strength. Here we will go through a sequence for inversions and arm balances, and a few interesting transitions between them. This advanced yoga practice is less of a flow and more of a well structured power building sequence. I am offering you to follow along with exercises and poses that you might avoid doing on your own.

This sequence includes the following inversions and arm balances:

Crow to chaturanga transition
Wide legged standing forward fold into tripod headstand
Tripod headstand into crow
Crow into tripod headstand
Forearm balance hold or headstand

And chaturanga pushups, plank holds, dolphin pose

We will finish this sequence with backbends and cool down stretches.

This 30 minute yoga practice for advanced level is perfect for everyone who is working on achieving arm balances and inversions. All those who want to beautifully sculpt and tone their arms and move onto a new level of strength and resilience. This advanced yoga practice is well packed with all most essential exercises and movements for upper body strength.

Before you begin this practice I would recommend you to complete some general warm up and a few Sun Salutations.

This short but intense yoga power practice will help improve our strength, endurance and stamina. This sequence is a perfect practice to prepare for some advanced arm balances and inversions. And even though its main focus is to strengthen our arms you will feel lots of muscular engagement through your abdominal muscles, deep core activation as well as legs. So you can easily consider it to be a full body power practice, especially given that we will complete this practice with deep backbends, shoulder stretches and cool down poses.

No equipment is necessary for this practice. There will be no music as a background to this practice. So you can play your own if you prefer. Do your best and stay patient and grateful for all the change you are creating.
