Xinjiang's Hottest Attraction - Hemu Village Scenic Area - Driving Tour 4K HDR

The most popular tourist attraction of China in 2024 is undoubtedly the Altay region in Xinjiang, especially Kanas and Hemu. The Hemu Scenic Area, which is also within the Kanas Scenic Area, has attracted more tourists because of its village attributes, vast grassland and complete tourism supporting facilities.

Today we will drive along the mountain roads that is the only way to enter and exit the Hemu Scenic Area, experience the topography of the Altay Hemu area, and appreciate the stunning scenery that attracts tens of millions of Chinese tourists.

Hemu area is a village under the jurisdiction of Burqin County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Located on the shore of Kanas Lake, it is the concentrated living place of Tuva people. It is the farthest and largest village among the only three remaining Tuva villages (Hemu Village, Kanas Village and Baihaba Village), with a total area of 3,040 square kilometers.

Hemu Village is known as "China's No. 1 Village". Log houses are scattered throughout the village, small bridges flow over the water, and smoke rises from cooking fires... The quaint mountain village scenery is as mysterious as Kanas Lake.

On July 28, 2019, Hemu Village was selected into the first batch of China's key rural tourism villages. In October 2019, it was selected into the first list of "The Models of Town Aesthetics".
