Jack Gartside (1942-2009) was an excellent fly fisherman and a world renowned fly tier and fly designer with a number of innovative fly concepts. He did not allow videos to be recorded of him tying fearing competition to his mail order business. The only exception known to me is a long private video I recorded with him tying in my home in Oslo in 1990, never before published. Jack tying his Sparrow is an excerpt from that video.
