Bohemian Baby

Описание к видео Bohemian Baby

This one is inspired by/ sort of a take on 70’s environmental and political rock. The bohemian image is rising to popularity in a world with record-high pollution. Brand new flowy hippie skirts made of polyester and toxic dyes, produced in places with poor workers rights. Factories dumping the residues of production in a landfill. The only Bohemia part left is the dream.

Lyrics:

Bohemian Baby
High enough the nothing can touch me
I miss running barefoot through a parking lot
I used to be a midnight dream
in gold and apricot

Now all that’s left is a bohemian baby
She’s wishing for greener pastures
Way back when the lake bed wasn’t cement
And the end was more than another word for landfill

We walk amongst ruin
Sift through whatever trash they’ve forgotten
After all this time you’d think we would have learned
We used to have the chance to follow
whatever we heard

Now all that’s left is a bohemian baby
She’s wishing for greener pastures
Way back when the lake bed wasn’t cement
And the end was more than another word for landfill

You want it but you shouldn’t
Take away a piece of the unburdened
You’ll build a city but they all must end in flame
You used to dream that every night be
Warmer than the last

Now all that’s left is a bohemian baby
She keeps wishing for greener pastures
Way back when the lake bed wasn’t cement
And the end was more than another word for landfill

They keep and keep forgetting
It’s all a game as long as earth keeps on spinning
Gamble on our fate as if they won’t loose their lot
They’ll keep their gold, but to what end? Their
Graves will still be cold

Now all that’s left is a bohemian baby
She’s wishing for greener pastures
Way back when the lake bed wasn’t cement
And the end was more than another word for landfill

The landfill, the landfill
Don’t want to end up in the landfill
Don’t let me end up in the landfill
But it’s all a landfill isn’t it?
