Hi-Nu returns to the channel! Its been a year since its been on the channel so lets revisit it.

Hi-Nu is a 700 General MS that was dropped for the 2023 GBO2 Anniversary. It was the first suit to be dropped, then Gale. Its kit consists of a Hi-Nu BR that can instant stun, or charge it for a three round burst that insta stuns on each shot. Alternatively you can use the Hi-Nu Hyper bazooka. The bazooka fires 2 rounds per volley, each stunning and having high build stun. This lets you stop 90% of the MS at the cost with your primary alone. You also get a touch pad skill that lets you do a backflip and fire the bazooka for 1 round of ammo. It only works if you have ammo in the bazooka and its a one time use each life. Your shield loses the missiles that Nu has, but you keep the Cannon it has for a insta stun. you have god tier Vulcans with amazing build stun. You get the same shield that Nu get's to defend yourself, it protects you from incoming projectiles. Cant block melee though. You get flap booster so you can boost and hold down your jump button to ascend into the air while boosting, getting rid of the need to jump to places.

The biggest change is the funnels offensive capability. You get funnels that launch individually and do more, rapid fire pattern from various directions. Compared to the standard pattern that all the other Funnel Ms have, they have High build stun. This lets you chase down MS pretty effectively with your vulcans out. The next big change is the Deploy Funnel's to allies. This is when you lock on an ally and launch your funnels to them, they will then hover above the ally and fire when your ally does an attack. The best way to take advantage when given these is to use your vulcans. Your vulcans constantly fire quickly, letting the funnels fire as often as possible. Doing good build stun and damage for your Hi-Nu. While they are deployed the Hi-Nu player gains Attack and speed increase. You can recall them early if you press square if you have them selected again. They have good cool down So use them when possible.

Now Hi-Nu has gone through a lot of buffs, too many to list. So I will give you the latest. In December of 2023, When Norn dropped, Hi-Nu gained some big buffs. Its HP went from 20K to 21K, Its beam resist went from 16 to 25, It gained flight control program lvl 3 instead of lvl 2, Its BR OH was changed from 18 seconds to 13 seconds, its heat rate was reduced after charging a shot. the Bazooka cool down went from 6 seconds to 5, Its Reload from 15 seconds to 12, and the switch time shortened. the Funnel focus fire overheat was changed from 15 seconds to 12, its stagger accumulation increased. The support mode of the funnels Cooldown time was shorted from 1.5 seconds to 1 second, and return much faster then before. Making Hi-Nu a big contender yet again. and even able to hold its own against Norn.

Overall? Hi-Nu is very fun. It's a melee Nu that actually hurts when built right. You can punish players and be aggressive. The buff to its beam resist means you can actually match what other 700 MS have for beam defense. You also have a hard hitting down swing with great range. Its a Moderate skill ceiling MS though, while not as hard to play compared to Sinanju, If you fuck up you wont have fun. Especially vs a Unicorn or Norn. I recommend you bring it to free practice and get used to the flap booster and learn how to abuse it.

Ima be honest, these matches were both carried by me lol, This suit is a frontlining General, too many times i see people midline with it. GET IN THERE! Just be careful with your downswing, you got a large reach. and if you run the zook, please be careful when you fire it. Try not to hit allies.
