There's not much information available about the band Seed and there's also a few that goes by the same or similar name. But this band from Austin Texas was very promising when they were introduced to the scene. Their debut album Ling was very much a great fusion of power pop, hardrock and almost bordering on progressive rock. It was dreamy almost shoegazey and as I've said almost in the direction of progressive rock. Nevertheless this band had what it takes to go alongside bands that came out during that period. Their song Doe and Rapture received great reviews and praises but overall Ling as a whole album had great and solid songs to boot! It's just too bad we never got to see the band reach their true potential as they were cut short and disbanded before they could do a follow up to their great debut album Ling...

*Rapture was a minor hit by the band and it also happens to be my favorite from Ling. It has all the right elements of what a great rock song should be, a nice crunchy riff a cool and dreamy solo ,a happy kinda vibe and some kinda funky psychedelic bass line to sew things up! 😁 -Squach
