Day 2 of my story attempting to walk and wild camp The Two Moors Way, Devon’s Coast to Coast
A UK long distance National trail at 117 miles.
Starting at Wembury in South Devon a few hours from Plymouth
Walking through Dartmoor National Park and across the western edge of Exmoor
Finishing on the North Coast at Lynton

To Scorriton Down. Aiming for Holne
Easy walk into Ivybridge then through to Dartmoor.
Ivybridge ideal for restocking getting food etc and a straightforward well signed route
Although a fantastic dry day can feel the difference in temperature as you get on the moors and a constant but not strong wind in my face coming from the North definitely helping the cooling factor.
Couple of minor wrong routes (due to me getting distracted) no real problems though, except for ending up wrong side of stream and wading 😊
Decent spot for overnight. Bit to close for tea time stampede of cows going downhill.
A little short of aim point but convenient to stay in official wild camping area
Difficult to capture or describe scale of area. Fantastic to experience it.

This isn’t a guide video (although i do try to highlight parts, wild camp spots and tips/wisdom I learn along the way)
The photos and videos are as taken. No filters etc have been attempted.

I am not in charge of the weather. If its grey, raining or windy that’s what it was. (Maybe I’ll get better footage next time. Next time… 🤣😆)
