Headlamp Assembly Replacement: HOW TO ESCAPE

This is a tutorial for removing your headlamp assembly to replace it or upgrade to an aftermarket product.

TORQUE SPECS:
3 x screws for headlamp housing = 4.8Nm = 42 lb-in

There are 3 bolts for the headlamp assembly and the lower bolt is hidden by the bumper cover. To access this bolt, please see the Front Bumper Cover Removal video here:    • Ford Escape Front Bumper Cover Remova...  

RAHRENA TIP: It may be the case that you're just replacing a single headlamp housing instead of both- if so, you may be able to get away with only removing that side of the bumper cover to access the bolt you need.

Pay special attention to fitment and alignment with body panels when reinstalling the lamp housings. Adjust as necessary for a consistent gap.
