Taman Melawati has been one of the earliest township within the proximity of KL City Center. It's one of the most popular location for landed homes due to it's perfect setting between urbanism and nature.

Then within the neighbourhood, there are several luxury residences located within the higher grounds and 20 Trees West is one of them. From the front gate, the entire residence is hidden behind the mature foliage. The maintenance as well is mind blowing. After so many years, the neighbourhood is still very well kept.

This exact bungalow is a demonstration of proper architectural design. It response perfectly to the surrounding by having the main spaces behind the house. They layered the privacy in accordance to levels, and the scale to all spaces are just insanely huge. Not only in terms of quantity, the interplay of spatial quality comes from the size of the openings dedicated to specific usage of areas.

However, this property didn't really increase much in value over the years despite its attractive setting. A concern would also be the rise of brand new high rise developments within vicinity. That will definitely disrupt the sense of privacy of the address.

But overall, this is definitely a dream home for me to strive for. It would be a dream come true to be able to own this when I'm 45-50 :)
