A different approach to the usual bushcraft method of baking. This is a foolproof method that uses very little heat/fuel with no chance of burning the cookware. Use 'any just add water' cake mix. Mix as per the packet's directions and steam for twenty minutes or until a skewer or similar is clean when puled out. Add small amounts of water, tablespoon, every five minutes or so to keep a humid atmosphere. The moisture transfers more heat than dry air. The cake in the video took longer, more like forty minutes because I used twice as much cake mixture than i usually be do.

The flavours are far more intense than conventional baking. The texture is soft and fluffy.
