The Bhagya Suktam from Rig Veda is rendered in the Ghana Patha mode by Sri Bala Bhat Ghanapati and Sri K Suresh.

Chanting Method followed-
1. The Vedic recitation of Rig Veda is as per the method followed in Tamil Nadu, India. This form of recitation of Rig Veda takes lot of breath because, the Maatra for svarita/deergha svarita is more.
2. You can observe that only single svarita mark is used in Rig Veda, unlike Krishna Yajur Veda (Taittiriya Sakha) where double svarita mark is used.
3. There is NO "Gm" (Anunaasikam) in Rigveda, even though Anusvaara is followed by Ushma (sa, sha, Sa) and ra.
4. While reciting Ghana Patha, the reverse order of the words will be changed to "Pada Paatha" form, which complicates the Ghana recitation further.

These Mantra are from Rig Veda: 7th Mandala, 41st Sukta, Mantras 1-7 Addressed to Bhaga, Ushas & other devatas by Maitra Varuni Vashista Rishi with Trishtup and Jagati Chandas

Benefits of this Mantra:
Bhaga, the lord who is capable of bestowing all types of wealth, is the primary Devata(God) in this Sukta. This Sukta is recited in the early morning to invoke all Devatas including Bhaga/ Ushas to get all types of Wealth, Comforts and Luck.

Meaning of this Mantra:
1. We invoke Agni-holy fire, Indra-Cosmic Energy, Mitra & Varuna-Sun & Ocean, Ashwins-Twin energies of Prana & Udana at dawn. We invoke Bhaga-Glory, Pushan-Vitality, Brahmanaspati-Supreme of the Universe, Soma-Herbal energy, Rudra-Lord of Justice & Freedom from evil at dawn.
2. We call strong, ever conquering Bhaga, who is the Son of Aditi at dawn. O Bhaga, supporter of the world, even the poorest of the poor or even the King will beg for your blessings. O Lord, give me the Glory and Grace we need.
3. O Bhaga, lord of power and glory, you are the leader. Lord of light, you are the giver of victory in the field of truth. Lord omniscient, protect and promote this wisdom and intelligence of ours, giving us more and ever more of it. Lord of universal prosperity, promote us with lands, cows and the light of knowledge and with speed and success in the field of transport, communication and achievement. O lord of life and humanity, let us be blessed with leaders and manpower of exceptional order.
4. O, Mitra Varuna, give prosperity. O sky route, queen of wealth, please grant us prosperity and ever happiness. Let Indra and Agni grant us success and health. Let Adithi grant us prosperity.
5. O Bhaga, lord of glory. By virtue of your grace, let us too be masters of power, prosperity and excellence, brilliant and generous. O lord of universal power and grace, all life and humanity does you homage and obeisance. O lord of power, prosperity and excellence, you alone be our guide, pioneer and leader here in life.
6. Let the dawn (Ushas) come to our pure place like Dadhikravan (speedy horse). Let the Bhaga (who gives treasure always to us), be brought here by pulling a chariot by strong steeds.
7. Let the sacred Ushas bless us with cows, heroes, horses and all types of wealth in abundance. Preserve and protect us always with your blessings.
