MazeBot

Описание к видео MazeBot

MazeBot was inspired by the work of Claude Shannon, creator of Theseus the Mouse, 1951. Theseus broke ground as an early example of machine learning, built with 90 relays and 25 magnetic reed switches. Today I have access to the incredible power and low cost of computing, and have a little fun with it while giving a nod to its origins.
MazeBot detects walls and the goal post with electric charge picked up by pins on a Pi. These data points are used to learn about the maze and decide where next to explore. X, y, z positions are sent in G-Code to a microcontroller running GRBL. A program manager listens for input from the control panel.
