Elephant Racing provides a few different options of inner and outer GT3 control arms for your Porsche 996, 997, 991, Boxster, and Cayman. 996 and 997 GT3 cars came equipped with adjustable type lower control arms fit to the front of the car. We’ve developed an upgraded GT3 type lower inner and outer control arm. They’re readily available and dimensionally identical to the factory parts. The arms can be mix-matched with our designs as well as the factory-type inner and outer lower control arms. The two-piece design allows the fitment of shims enabling the control arm to be extended. Lengthening of the arm has the effect of both increasing camber and widening track width, increasing cornering grip and performance.

The Elephant Racing GT3 outer arm is offered in two flavors, A GT3 Street which is equipped with a rubber bushed central bushing and GT3 Cup which is equipped with a solid caster adjustable central bushing. The solid caster bushing gives you a wide range of adjustments to fine-tune performance and prevent tire rub of any kind. Like the factory GT3 lower control arms, our outer arm has an integrated ball joint that is weather sealed on both the top and bottom. Unlike the factory GT3 lower control arms, the ball joint on the Elephant Racing arms is rebuildable and we offer a rebuild kit allowing you to renew the arm when needed.

These same arms can be fitted to the rear of 996/997 GT3 cars and can also be fitted to regular non-GT3 996 and 997s for the same performance benefits.

We also offer the Elephant Racing GT3 inner lower control arm in two flavors, GT3 Street which is equipped with sport-hardness rubber bushings to provide upgraded control and driver feedback while still offering good road noise isolation, and GT3 Cup which uses weather-sealed spherical bearings. These deliver superior precision, control, and performance, but they will transmit a bit more road noise than rubber bushings.

The shims are made from lightweight aluminum and available in 1mm increments, 1mm adds approximately .1 degree of camber between inner and outer halves giving you the opportunity to adjust for exact length and camber precision. We also offer a Litronic bracket that lets you maintain factory sensor positioning while upgrading the lower control arms.
