Mong Kok East Station is the 13th to start installing APGs, and it is among the most difficult stations to install APGs due to its curve. The first set of platform gates at Platform 3 were installed in late September. It was then fully operational by early January of the next year. Lo Wu, University, and Mong Kong East Stations are installing platform gates at the time of uploading. All stations of the East Rail Line will be installed with platform gates before the end of 2025.
