Audrey Saunders came up with this one in 2005. It is a variation of the classic Manhattan cocktail. Switches Angostura Bitters with Cynar and results in a fantastic cocktail. You should try it!

Ingredients
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 3/4 oz sweet vermouth
- 1/2 oz Cynar
- 2 Luxardo Maraschino Cherries

Build
- Pour all ingredients except the cherries into a mixing glass
- Add a lot of ice
- Stir for 20 seconds to chill the drink
- Pour into a cocktail glass using a strainer. Ideal to have a frosted glass
- Garnish with 2 cherries on a skewer
