Making Butterflies out of Autumn Leaves - Nail Design Tutorial!

Heya Duck! In today's video, we are going to be doing some leaves but they will be in the shape of a Butterfly! Keep watching!

I'll start by giving these a think coat of the base I just gave them a clean-over with the clean-up solution on a lint-free pad just before we started and now we can go in with with icing sugar on the middle two fingers and I'll give them a cure and then ill do the rest in green and we are using Mick with that done they can go in the lamp.

I have decanted some gels onto my pallet and I’m going to be using Andy, Mick, Sours, Suki, Sandra and pumpkin spice and I’ll add some Cola and some Vamp to those as well.

I’ll start with Sandra and create these large wing/leaf shapes one one of the nails i'll do the top two nails in this colour and on the other I’ll do the bottom leaves with Sandra then I’ll move on to Mick and I’ll do the remaining wings with that colour.

Then I'll use My other colours to add details to these shapes so for my green shape I'll use Andy, Sours and Suki and then for my yellow, I can use pumpkin spice and cola and vamp.

When I’m happy with those leaves I’ll add a drop shadow using the Void gel with some base coat I’ll give those a mix and apply the shadow to the icing sugar background colour to create a parallax.

Now I’ll take Void on its own using the Lily Liner Brush and I’ll outline the design and cure that.

And then I'll add some highlights to the design using the White-Out Gel again with the Lily Liner.

Now I'll go over the design nails with a think layer of the base coat and cure that and then I can go over that with the Matte topcoat and then I'll use Narla a Jelly topcoat in orange to Droplets throughout this design and then I’ll add some Crystals to this design to create the body of our Butterfly and don’t forget to add Antenna!

I’ll add a little bit of gloss topcoat over the Antenna and I'll gloss topcoat the green nails and that's it! I hope you enjoyed the video and I'll see you in the next one! T’Rah Duck!
