3 Alex Skolnick Licks From 1989

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Alex Skolnick Licks From 1989. I've had a ton of requests to feature more of Alex's music, and so far there's an additional Three-For-All lesson from a few years ago, The Chords Of Testament Chordplay episode, and also a rant video The Students Of Joe Satriani that features some of Alex's music/ideas.

The licks shared in this lesson came from a bootleg featuring Testament strutting their stuff onstage on October 6th, 1989, so the anniversary of this concert is just a few days away, and there were plenty of sick licks flying around during the footage from the concert.

The ideas shared here include a volume-swelled melodic phrase from the song 'The Ballad,' a melodic arpeggio phrase from the song 'The Preacher,' an intense melodic picking sequence from 'Trial By Fire,' a hyperactive "crammed" shred lick, and much more!
